The Eburne Stool is a study in balance - raw material, controlled form, and quiet presence. A solid timber seat is shaped and finished using a charred and sealed timber finish, deepening the grain and creating a natural, tonal variation unique to each piece. This is paired with a restrained steel base, set at a subtle angle for stability and visual tension. The result is an object that sits somewhere between furniture and sculpture - equally at home in a refined farmhouse interior, modern architectural space, or as a standalone accent. This piece is intentionally offered in a single finish to preserve design integrity. Design Intent - Minimal, grounded proportions - Contrast between warm organic wood and cool steel - Designed to feel intentional, not decorative - Built to age well and develop character over time Specifications - Height: 16” - Seat: 11” diameter solid wood - Finish: Burnt timber, sealed satin polyurethane - Base: Steel, flat black - Leg angle: 10° outward stance - Construction: Made to order Use Cases - Entry stool - Side table - Plant stand - Quiet sculptural object Production Each piece is made individually in Vancouver, BC.
